Neutrik XLR holes

Be careful when using Neutriks CAD files.
They show their XLRs mirrored!

So the screws needs to be top-left and right-bottom. (not top-right and bottom-left)

Two of the most used XLR connectors:

Neutrik D-Type

Robust because of the metal case

Inside ist still made out of plastic
Connector is much more expensive
You need nuts to fix them
It takes longer to assemble these
they need more space

Neutrik MAAH/FAAH

easier to assemble, just two screws
pcb connections
he connectors require less space and thus achieve a higher packing density
cheaper then Neutrik D series

no metal casing
