Neutrik XLR holes

Be careful when using Neutriks CAD files.
They show their XLRs mirrored!

So the screws needs to be top-left and right-bottom. (not top-right and bottom-left)

Two of the most used XLR connectors:

Dtype.jpg

Neutrik D-Type

PRO1.png
  • Robust because of the metal case

kontra2.png
  • Inside ist still made out of plastic

  • Connector is much more expensive

  • You need nuts to fix them

  • It takes longer to assemble these

  • they need more space

kontra2.png

  • he connectors require less space and thus achieve a higher packing density
